Gloversville NY is the model for the fictional Pawntucket, Willow’s hometown in Angel.

L.A Weatherly, author of Angel, visits Gloversville on her U.S. road trip looking for Willow's house.

 During the road trip L.A Weatherly travelled to places that feature in the book and retraced the route that Alex and Willow took as they travelled across the country.
