Trying To Clean Up The Blog...And The Survivor Game (Again)

***Okay, first off, I'm so sorry for the posting issues--blame the Blog Blonde. I totally flaked while attempting to clean up the blog. Ugh.

Do y'all ever rework your blog? I was doing that earlier, but deleted the wrong post while watching the NASCAR truck series race and getting all teary eyed over it being the 10 year anniversary of Dale Earnhardt Sr.'s passing. I guess I wasn't paying attention.

Then, I posted a re-post, but realized I wanted to ask y'all what you do when you remodel your blog...so I deleted that one. Sigh. I apologize again. 

Blog remodeling questions:

-Do you relabel posts?

-Do you narrow your labels down? That's something I've been working on after noticing some labels that were too similar.

-Do you delete posts? If so, why? Sometimes I'll delete them if they're obsolete (things that no longer matter or even things from when I first started blogging and asked questions about how to blog...stuff like that).

-Have you ever tried different layouts? I have, but it never looks right to me, so I ultimately stay with the same thing.  I'm probably doing something wrong, though...I'm not so good at this stuff.

I'll try to keep the blog blonde from having another flake-out anytime soon.

The Blog Blonde Is At It Again!

I'm trying to update my blog--add stuff, change stuff, and basically just try a bunch of technical things I haven't a clue about. Sooooo, bear with me--the blog may look a little unfinished while I stumble along through the process.

And, um, why is my blog getting a lot of traffic from people looking for info. on Troy Aikman's sexuality? Really?

Watching Winter X Games--those guys and gals can really throw down. Shaun White tonight!!!! If you haven't seen him, you are missing out on something special--the guy is phenomenal.

Do you twitter? I've often thought about it, but...I dunno...what am I gonna say? 2:30--slipped on ice, fell on bum; 3:30--bit sore, craving soda; 5:00--certain songs make my hormones rage something furious (example Robin Thicke's music...seriously); 7:00--the static electricity is really bugging me...feel like have Beetlejuice hair.

Anyway, I'm rambling...mainly because I'm putting off having to figure out the technical-blog-stuff.

Blog Blonde Returns--UPDATE--FIGURED IT OUT! YAY!

Okay, I can't post comments on some blogs.

I type a comment, press the button, it sends, but doesn't appear on the blog. I don't get it.

So far, the blogs I cannot post on are as follows: Jules, Martha, J. Day, and Average Girl. Any blog asking for me to chose between Google Account, Wordpress, etc., just won't let me post.

HELP!!!

I can't even reply to comments on my own dang blog!!! What the heck??? I've tried selecting the "Google Account," because I assume that's what it is, but when I try to post, it just disappears.

I tried the Name/URL on Jewels' Vampire post, but still nothing!

HELP!!!!


UPDATE: Okay, I've read about quite a few people having this problem. Here's what you need to check--make sure that under tools, you have "Accept 3rd party cookies" checked.

Phew. Now I can post comments!!! Hurray!!!!

Blog Blonde Moment...Again: Note To Followers.

I like to follow anyone and everyone who is so kind to follow my little blog.  HOWEVER, I have the amazing "ability" to complicate the uncomplicated, and can't seem to figure out how to follow some of you, or even see your blog. 

IF I have not followed you, please don't think I'm being bitchy (it's not my style); I'm just a blog virgin (Get it? Lame, I know.) and can't seem to figure it out. 

Just wanted you to know...I'm not ignoring you or anything along those lines. I just can't seem to follow you or see your blog for one reason or another.

The Blog Blonde Returns

So, okay, I'm feeling stupid. When I get a follower on my blog, I like to then add them to my favorite blog list-thing. Um, I can't figure out how to do that for some followers. *hides while you laugh* 

When I click on their name to add them, a box pops up and shows me only the blogs they are following, but I cannot click on their name or see their blog. Is this making any sense??? I feel like I'm talking in a different language...I'm not exactly blog savvy. Can ya tell?

I just feel bad--I don't want anyone to think I'm not trying to visit their blogs...I'm just a total blog blonde and can't figure it out.  Any tips? 

I'm a Blog Blonde

Yeah, so, with only a few days of blogging experience, I've come to discover that I am a total blog blonde. I don't have a clue what I'm doing.

Here I was so proud when I figured out how to change the background colors. Idiot. Now, I flip through all these blogs and they are so incredible!! They have pictures, designs, cool fonts, etc. I come back to my little blog and see....blah. The worst part? I have NO idea where to begin to make it look, you know, better. I look through all the dashboard, design tabs and it's like I'm reading a foreign language. Ugh.

I'm a blog blonde. Hmm. Wonder if gentlemen prefer blog blondes? One can only hope.

P.S. I can't get the preview to work...seriously, who can't click a button and get a preview to work? I'm such an idiot.
